My All-Time Favorite Teacher

Well, out of all my years in school I have one teacher that stood out to me. That teacher is Mrs. McQuaid. She was a class favorite. Everyone enjoyed her humor and spirit. She no longer works at my school but everyone still talks about her as if she still works at our campus. She was my 9TH grade English and Composition teacher. She taught with a lot of enthusiasm and kept the class pretty lively, which was hard to do because, besides me, not too many people enjoyed English or Composition…See More

Exhibition Night

When I first heard we were having an Exhibition Night for sophomores I was half excited and half confused. I knew it was a big thing at our school because the sophomore class last year would always talk about it, but I didn’t know what actually went on. Now I know that our Exhibition Night project is a project about who we are, where we are going and how we are planning to get there. It’s a PowerPoint featuring slides about our grades and plans for high school, our dream college and our dream…See More

Art Inspired by Life

So, I’ve wanted to become more involved in art. Maybe it’s because I no longer take the art class in school or the fact that I haven’t done any artwork in about two in a half months. I look at art and want to create my own art. In class last semester I learned about numerous art techniques including: Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, Dadaism, Surrealism, and Photorealism. Yet, I still could not find my inspiration for my next piece. I struggled to figure out what I was going to do next. Then I…See More

Countdown of My Top Ten Guilty Pleasures

Over the last year I have developed a few addictions, harmless ones that I can’t seem to shake. I know everyone has their own guilty pleasures so I just wanted to come forth and show mine.

10. Gummy Bears. I don’t know where the obsession started but I can’t seem to get enough of these things. They are so chewy and they eliminated chocolate from my list of guilty pleasures. They are so delicious that I find myself eating…
