Hi Sarah -

The list of schools and districts that would be subject to State control might surprise a lot of people. It's not just Chester Upland, Philadelphia, Harrisburg; it includes schools in Abington, Jenkintown, Lower Merion, Upper Merion, Springfield Township, Central Bucks, Great Valley, West Chester, Garnet Valley, Haverford, Rose Tree Media and Ridley.

Can you tell me what specific powers or sanctions the state would assume, if any, for districts on this list that have only been in warning status for one year? For two years?
